Restrictions caused by access issues and the timetable of the main house contractors meant that this project was carried out over a 3-year period. Two thirds of the garden had to be excavated to create a double-storey basement, after which 120 tonne of topsoil was replaced and mature trees planted via access through the open house carcase. Gardenlink maintained the trees for a year while the house building was completed, returning later to install the lawn and water feature. With the original drawings created in 2005, the iconic design has stood the test of time!
